“Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.”

~Aristotle

This resource page is a collection of articles designed primarily as password-protected psycho-educational material for use exclusively by my patients who currently attend sessions weekly.  It also contains some open-access pages, some of which may help people who are looking into personal development or psychotherapy work as a possible avenue of help and support.  If you are seeking a psychotherapist go to the Guide Page of this website and it will give you an overview of what to look out for in beginning to consider the process of finding a suitable therapist.  Other articles on the Resources Page are illustrative, using metaphors or poems, of particular experiences patients might bring to therapy, or are adjuncts to existential enquiry, or consider some of the social influences on our mental wellbeing.

Current patients attending flexibly can also access the Resources Page when they purchase any Therapy Card or optional Supplementary Support.  Specific articles are sometimes made open-access between sessions to patients attending flexibly when specifically recommended for the work we are doing.  Unfortunately, I no longer make the entirety of my Resources Page available to members of the public who are not actively engaged in work with me, as access is also now tied to the signing of my Terms and Conditions, and Service Fees.

At the foot of each page there is a keyword cloud and search box that you can use to identify and search specific topics.  In the resources are some general guides on:

  • how to choose therapeutic help
  • how to use it to best effect
  • some of the pitfalls of public and private services
  • posts on particular subjects that are commonly addressed within my psychotherapy practice

Hi J, nice to hear from you. I’ve tried to find your blog a few times and seem to have unfollowed it unwittingly. Tried to re-follow but don’t see a button. Hope you and your family are doing well too my friend.
